ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Niagara Falls High School opened during the 2000-2001 season, combining two competitive wrestling programs in LaSalle Senior High School and the former Niagara Falls High School. Since then, the team has gone on to win several league and sectional championships and produce some of the best wrestlers in the State.

Many wrestlers have claimed individual titles including 39 Class AA titles, 21 Sectional titles, and our schools first State Champion Willie McDougald (2018 & 2020). We currently have several alumni competing at the collegiate level. Wolverine wrestlers have continued their post high school careers all over the country wrestling at places such as Niagara County Community College, The University at Buffalo, Brockport University, Ithaca College, Cortland State, Oklahoma University, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Gannon University, The US Marine Corps, and Harvard.
