Power Cats Update: 11/26/25

Practice Schedule
   •    Regular practices will pause until next Tuesday and Thursday.
   •    We begin to hold Experienced Wrestler Practice on Saturday, December 6th, which will be the first day we begin live wrestling.

Tournaments
   •    For experienced kids Coach Ty will be at the following tournaments early in the season:
   •    December 6th – Akron
   •    December 14th – Batavia
   •    Please see the calendar for additional tournaments.
   •    For new wrestlers, we recommend waiting until the December 28th St. Joe’s Tournament, where our full coaching staff will be present. This will also be enough time to test out what we have learned so far. 

Team Store
   •    The first team store order closes Friday 11/28 (Black Friday). If you want to receive your gear before Christmas, please make sure to submit your order by then.
   •    A second team store will open shortly after and remain open for two weeks.

Recommendations
   •    We generally do not recommend first-year wrestlers compete this season, though there may be exceptions for athletes who are progressing quickly.
   •    As always, these are recommendations—final decisions are up to you as parents.
