A Huge Summer for Power Cats Wrestling
The 2026 Power Cats Summer Camp Series was a tremendous success!
Across our Beginner, Pre-High School, and High School camps, more than 80 wrestlers registered to train with Power Cats this summer. Wrestlers of all ages and experience levels spent the summer learning technique, building confidence, competing, and developing the work ethic that we want Power Cats Wrestling to represent.
Our camps also gave young wrestlers the opportunity to learn from an outstanding group of coaches and accomplished wrestlers, including Willie McDougald, Joshua Eagan, Donny McCoy, Andrew Shomers, Jehad Ali, and Cory Turner.
We want to thank every wrestler, parent, coach, and volunteer who helped make this our biggest and most successful summer camp series yet.
Now We're Getting Ready for Wrestling Season
The momentum doesn't stop with summer camp.
Last season, Power Cats moved its regular Tuesday and Thursday practices to the Niagara Falls High School Fieldhouse, giving our growing club the space needed to continue expanding. More than 50 wrestlers registered last season, and based on the turnout we saw throughout the summer, we're preparing for an even bigger group this year.
Power Cats will once again practice at the Niagara Falls High School Fieldhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–7:30 PM.
This season, we're also looking to take another step forward by collaborating with other local wrestling clubs to establish a youth dual-meet schedule. Our goal is to give Power Cats wrestlers more opportunities to compete as a team, gain valuable match experience, and build relationships with other wrestling programs throughout Western New York.

For generations, Niagara Falls Wrestling Club has helped build wrestlers, leaders, and lifelong relationships within the Niagara Falls community. As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteer coaches and clinicians, every dollar raised goes directly back into the program — improving equipment, upgrading training areas, and continuing our efforts to renovate parts of the facility, including the lobby and downstairs locker room area.
